Al-Hikma College of Medical Sciences and Technology was established in Dhamar in 2004 with a license from the Ministry of Public Health and Population, the main center, with 3 medical specialties, namely:
(Pharmacy Technician - Laboratory Technician - Medical Assistant)

In 2006, a branch of the University College of Medical Sciences was opened in the capital, Sana'a, with 4 medical specialties, namely:
(Pharmacy Technician - Laboratory Technician - Medical Assistant - Dental Technician)

and in 2008, the branch of Al-Hikma College of Medical Sciences was opened in Taiz city with 5 medical specialties, namely: 
(Pharmacy Technician - Laboratory Technician - Medical Assistant - Dental Technician - Dental Assistant)

The number of students enrolled in all branches of the college is approximately 3000 students to meet the community's need for qualified technical cadres in various medical fields.
