Al-Hikma University is a private educational institution officially licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Republic of Yemen with No. 542 and the date of 8/26/2008 AD. The activity of Al-Hikma Educational Institution began in 2004 AD under the name of the University Institute for Medical Specializations, then the name of Al-Hikma College was added in 2007 AD for technical and administrative specializations With a license from the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training, respectively, this institution soon gained the confidence of the official authorities, so it was officially opened by the Prime Minister Dr. Ali Muhammad Mujur, and then the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education to establish the first private university based in the city of Dhamar and its branches in the cities of Sana'a and Taiz.

 

Study System:

  • The university year begins in September of each year, and study continues for (32) weeks in the university year during the first and second semesters, where the duration of the (first or second) semester is (16) sixteen weeks, including the midterm and final exams, and the duration is Summer semester (8 weeks), with two lectures per week, including exams.

 

  • The study system in all colleges and branches of the university is based on regularity, and the student is deprived of taking the final exam if his attendance rate is less than 75% of the theoretical lectures and practical lessons for each course according to the study plan. The student who is deprived of taking the final exam due to absence is considered to have failed the exam. The decision.
