    Department Mission :

    To provide high-quality educational and research programs in information technology, to qualify quality graduates capable of dealing with technical challenges, innovating and applying information technologies in various fields, contributing to serving socie.

    Department objectives :

    1. To provide a conducive educational, academic, and research environment, along with the necessary infrastructure.
    2. To update the curricula of academic programs to keep pace with scientific advancements in information technology and the needs of the job market.
    3. To attract a highly qualified academic staff and supply various institutions with qualified software professionals who meet their needs and contribute to the development of innovative technological projects.
    4. To offer awareness seminars and technical consultations that contribute to protecting privacy from violation, developing security policies, and responding to incidents, thereby enhancing the department's role in serving and protecting the community.
    5. To enhance students' ability to learn independently, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with IT teams, and to cultivate innovation and sustainability in the field of computing.

    Mission of the Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics Program :

    To qualify and develop a competent cybersecurity and digital forensics workforce equipped with the latest knowledge and modern skills, in accordance with the best academic and professional standards in the field of cybersecurity and digital forensics, by providing a distinguished educational and training service that fosters excellence and innovation.

    Objectives of the Cybersecurity and Digital Investigation Program :

    1. To equip and develop students' skills with the latest scientific and practical knowledge and skills in cybersecurity and digital forensics.
    2. To prepare qualified graduates capable of handling cyberattacks and mitigating their impact using the latest technologies, and who excel in the local and regional job market.
    3. To create a learning environment that meets academic accreditation standards, fostering leadership, self-learning, and teamwork skills among students, and motivating them to implement innovative cybersecurity projects.
    4. To update the program's curriculum to keep pace with scientific advancements in cybersecurity and digital forensics and the needs of the job market.
    5. To provide awareness lectures, security and digital forensics consultations, and applied research in cybersecurity and digital forensics, thereby enhancing the department's and university's role in serving the community.

    Al-Hikma University is a private educational institution officially licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education with the number 1358 dated 26/7/2008 AD. The activity of the Al-Hikma Educational Foundation began in 2004 under the name of the University Institute for Medical Specialties, then the name of the College of Wisdom was added in 2007 AD for technical and administrative majors with a license from the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Education, Technical Training and Vocational Training, respectively.
