Knowledge and Understanding (A)
A1: Define the basic and core knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioral, social, administrative pharmacy sciences; therapeutics, clinical sciences and other pharmacy related sciences.
A2: Demonstrate the essential knowledge about physicochemical and pharmacokinetic properties of medicines and their influence on compounding, evaluation, analysis, route of administration, and dosage regimen.
A3: Identify broad knowledge about the mechanism of action, effectiveness, use, safety, side effects, and interactions of therapeutic agents as well as the complementary therapies.
A4: Recognize the advanced concepts of professional including ethics, policies, laws, regulations requirements, management pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoepidemiology, pharmacoeconomic, pharmacoinformatic, research studies, and sources of information to optimize the therapeutic
A5: Describe principles of pharmaceutical care practice including dispensing, designing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and adjustment of medication therapy plans that are patient-specific and evidence-based to achieve maximum clinical effectiveness.
Intellectual Skills (B)
B1: Integrate information from different disciplines to handle, identify, extract, design, prepare, analyze, and assure quality of synthetic/natural pharmaceutical raw materials and finished products.
B2: Predict the drug properties including the bio-pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics.
B3: Merge the pharmacological knowledge about natural and synthetic medicines with policies, information systems, workforces, service delivery, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoepidemiology, and pharmacoeconomic factors to enhance the healthcare systems.
B4: Assess drug efficacy and safety through evaluation of appropriate physical, laboratory, and clinical parameters
B5: Formulate evidence-based care plans based on scientific literature related to drugs and disease to enhance clinical decision making.
Professional and Practical Skills (C)
C1: Apply appropriate methods, procedures, and resources for handling and disposal of biotechnological, radio-pharmaceuticals, and synthetic/natural pharmaceutical materials/products used in pharmaceutical preparations.
C2: Prepare and compound non-sterile and sterile products and other extemporaneous preparations taking into account the physicochemical properties of drugs structure & drug action and implements quality control measures and tests according to recognized guidelines and standards of practice
C3: Contribute to manage patient healthcare needs using human, financial, technological, and physical resources and participate in creating/improving national drug policies, laws, and regulations related to the health care systems to optimize the safety and efficacy of medication use systems.
C4: Apply patient-centered care legally, ethically, and as part of a team indifferent patient care settings according to research outcomes and professional standards.
