Learning Outputs:

After completing this program, Graduate will be able to:

A1: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles,
and theories in the field of basic sciences and principles of
general culture.

A2: Explain the basic concepts and principles associated with
information technology and its importance in public life.

A3: Describe precisely the role of information technology
in keeping up with technical changes and using it in the
service of society.

A4: Articulate the importance of information security
and the use of appropriate means to protect it.

B1: Innovate creative solutions to technical, software and hardware
problems in computer systems and related sciences

B2: Practice scientific and creative thinking skills in analysis and design to prepare programs that meet the needs of the labor market and related sciences.

B3: Analyze user needs and taking them into account when selecting, designing, evaluating, and managing computer systems

C1: Skillfully use the computer, the techniques,
and tools needed for computer applications.

according to the needs of the labor market.

Graduate Attributes of the program:

Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate will be able to:

  1. Apply computerized knowledge in different organizations and companies.
  2. Use and apply modern technical concepts and practice in the core of information technology related to human-computer interaction, information management, programming and network systems
  3. Identify and analyze the users’ needs and consider them when choosing, creation, evaluation and management of information technology
  4. Analyze, design, implement and evaluate the technical computer and information systems or part of them according to the required needs and available capabilities.
  5. Analyze and know the problem and determine the appropriate hardware and software requirements to solve it.
  6. Design, implement and test an integrated software system, evaluate its performance, and select network systems and the required hardware to operate it.
  7. Use software integrated development environments, databases, information technology and web technologies with high professionalism.
  8. Analyze the local and global impact of information technology on individuals, organizations, and society.
  9. Acknowledge the need for continuous professional development and the ability to participate in it.
  10. Employ his/her skills in efficient project management, research ability, leadership, communication skills and lifelong learning in various environments related to information technology.
  11. Adhere to the professional, ethical, legal, security and social responsibilities as an IT professional
  12. Work effectively in groups to achieve a common goal.

Al-Hikma University is a private educational institution officially licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education with the number 1358 dated 26/7/2008 AD. The activity of the Al-Hikma Educational Foundation began in 2004 under the name of the University Institute for Medical Specialties, then the name of the College of Wisdom was added in 2007 AD for technical and administrative majors with a license from the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Education, Technical Training and Vocational Training, respectively.
