As part of its ongoing efforts to improve the efficiency of healthcare professionals, the first day of an intensive training course in electrocardiography (ECG) began today, Saturday, led by Dr. Tahin Salahuddin under the supervision of the Department of General Medicine and Surgery and attended by the University President, Prof. Mukhtar Dael, and a number of medical students and healthcare practitioners from Al-Hikma University and elsewhere.

This course aims to develop participants' skills in reading and interpreting electrocardiograms and includes multiple scientific and practical topics, including:

• ECG principles and devices

• Wave interpretation

• Cardiac arrhythmias

• Acute cardiac conditions

• Practical applications and clinical cases

The course witnessed remarkable interaction amid great interest from medical students, who expressed their keenness to hone their medical skills and the university's interest in providing them with scientific and practical content, emphasizing the importance of these skills in the medical work environment.

The course continues for three consecutive days and includes practical training and a certified certificate at the end of the course.
